Why KYD?
When our founder lost his father unexpectedly, his mother, who relied on her husband to handle all financial matters, was overwhelmed and struggled with organizing their finances for a long time. At that time, our founder at the age of 14, his elder brother (16 yrs) and sister (10 yrs) were still quite young yet it left an indelible mark. It was a long and tough journey, and they faced many challenges along the way.
As a seasoned techie after 19 yrs of IT consulting and development experience, coupled with a strong passion for the financial world, he knew he had the skills and knowledge to make a difference. He wanted to create a solution that would empower families with financial awareness and ensure that no other family would have to go through the same struggles they did. This was the birth of “Know Your Dosh”.
